Jr Copywriter.
Words hold a lot of power, especially in today’s digital age. A consumer is constantly bombarded and is time poor which means we need not only standout but we have to do it quickly and with way less words.
We expect your copy to be mightier than the sword; sharper, more precise and with the ability to pierce deep into the audience’s mind.
Your Role
- Understanding the message the client is seeking to deliver and translating this into attractive copy
- Writing perfect, pleasing copy that will engage the reader
- Receiving feedback and using it to grow and improve as a copywriter
- Understanding client specifications to craft copy that is on brand
- Working with an art director and Sr copywriter to devise creative strategies
- Keeping copy consistent and identifiable for each client
- Producing creative ideas for innovative campaigns
Requirements
We’re looking for writers with 1-2 years experience, great portfolios, persuasive communication techniques, and a strong desire to learn and innovate at a global level. Desired candidates must possess the knowledge and passion with an interest in emerging brand, design and culture trends. Some key things you’ll need are:
- The ability to write using wide-ranging tones-of-voice
- The imagination required to fully explore and challenge a brief
- A passion for developing brand concepts, as well as strong copy
- A varied book of existing writing and ideas
- An up-to-date knowledge of branding and advertising
- An interest in visual, as well as verbal, identities
- A warm, collaborative approach to teamwork
- The capacity to work under pressure, if required
- Critical analysis and problem-solving skills
