Client Servicing Manager.

Words hold a lot of power, especially in today’s digital age. A consumer is constantly bombarded and is time poor which means we need not only standout but we have to do it quickly and with way less words.

Your Role

  • Develop effective communication platforms for clients and staff
  • Inspire repeat-business from clients
  • Conduct customer service workshops and presentations
  • Monitor and measure client satisfaction
  • Liaise with different departments about client queries
  • Offer advice to clients on services and products
  • Develop surveys and capture client information
  • Participate in marketing campaigns
  • Deal with client requests and troubleshoot problems

Requirements

Client Servicing begins where account management ends. A good client servicing manager truly understands the brand, the client and the business. He or she should be able to guide the account executive, the creative and the media planner towards achieving the goals for the brand

  • Know your team and its capabilities
  • Know your client
  • Read and know everything that is sent as initial material/documentation
  • Communicate in their terminology/use their technology
  • Be honest in terms of timelines and budgets – Deliver when you have committed to deliver, or else do not commit, this would take you a long way in the relationship and building trust
  • Address issues early (while it is brewing)
  • Always protect your team
  • Being silent will cause more harm than good
  • Focus on the problem, not the person – focusing on the person has always been a waste of time, it also creates a negative vibe in the overall project. Always focus on the problem
  • Always ask why (it is always better to ask why than assuming why
  • Always go the extra mile
